School Programs

Adventure Teamworks understands that today’s education goes beyond academic learning to also teach important life skills. To support the comprehensive instructional needs of teachers, we have developed the L.E.A.D. (Learning, Experiential, Active, Dynamic) Program that offers students a hands-on, experiential curriculum that teaches and reinforces personal and team skills. Programs immerse students in positive situations that determine how effectively they make constructive choices and have them use leadership skills, work together as a team and solve problems achieved through peer support and encouragement, not physical strength. Each program is customized to the school’s needs, goals and ability levels of ALL students, giving each student the chance to learn about themselves and peers in a safe environment.

PROGRAMS:

1. Team Fun
• Up to 1 ½ hours with a focus on communication, cooperation, compromise, and commitment.

2. Team Skills
• 2 to 3 hours encompassing the following three strategies: interpersonal communication skills, practical leadership lessons, and cooperative team behavior.

3. Team Quest
• 12 hours spread throughout the school year and covers the four stages of creatung a dynamic team: understand the importance and effectiveness of working together, determine the fundamentals of building a committed team, identify and utlize teh key components to successful communication, and recognize teh styles of leadership while learning to lead successfully.
